Since 2003, The Privacy & Financial Shield LLC (“PF Shield”) prides itself in practicing cutting edge domestic and international asset protection planning, estate planning, business entity structuring, risk management, and financial privacy consulting.
Our methods are easily integrated into most estate plans. We also design integrated estate and asset protection plans.
What makes PF Shield stand out from the crowd?
In addition to trusts, the main legal entity PF Shield utilizes is the Limited Liability Company (LLC). LLCs are generally more protective, versatile and easier to maintain than corporations. They are also more flexible than partnerships while being just as protective if structured properly.
Prior to numerous state LLC Acts being passed, many businesses moved to Nevada in order to provide Nevada Corporations for asset protection purposes. Hence the heavy marketing all of us see referencing Nevada Corporations. The businesses are now committed to an inherently more cumbersome and expensive asset protection system.
Therefore PF Shield is able to provide a complete and effective asset protection plan often for a fraction of the price of other companies.
We do not use “cookie cutter” asset protection plans. Instead, we customize each asset protection and privacy solution for the client. LLC’s are not the solution by themselves, but they are a part of a larger custom-tailored plan.
PF Shield, depending on the client’s goals, will set up an asset protection system so as to maximize privacy. Some states do not require the owners or managers of an LLC to be listed on any public record.
About W. Ryan Fowler
W. Ryan Fowler has until recently been one of the best kept secrets in the wealth preservation community.
A graduate of Brigham Young University, Mr. Fowler is the founder and managing member of The Privacy & Financial Shield LLC (pfshield.com), and has trained, mentored, or consulted for dozens of attorneys and other professionals nationwide in regards to wealth preservation matters.
Mr. Fowler originally began researching asset protection in an attempt to rectify the many differences of opinion, both within and without professional circles, as to which asset protection strategies worked and which didn’t. In order to separate fact from hype, Mr. Fowler would only support a strategy if he could prove its efficacy via a thorough analysis of statutory law, case law, and other relevant data. The results of this research has made Mr. Fowler a pioneer in some of the most advanced asset protection strategies available, such as equity stripping via obligation-based liens, UFTA Section 8(a) defense strategies, and the use of disregarded entity multi-member LLCs (DEMMLLCs).
Mr. Fowler currently resides in Plano, Texas.
